There is a series of salmon fry releases taking place in the next several weeks for those parents who are looking for activities to do with their kids.

Spanish Streamkeepers are doing releases at Spanish Bank Creek. They are releasing chum salmon on three different days. More...

Seymour Salmon Hatchery is doing a chum release on April 23rd at Maplewood Creek, which is located in Maplewood Farm. In fact, they are still looking for people to assist with this event. More...

Fingerling Festival in Port Moody is taking place on May 7th. They have a wonderful community hatchery by Noons Creek. I will be manning a booth at the festival, and still looking for fly tyers who wish to help out at the workshops. Complete detail of event is still unavailable, but you can go to the May event listing for more info.

Great Salmon Send-off is also taking place on May 7th, at Stoney Creek in Burnaby. See May event listing.

Salmon Leave Home. See May event listing.
