| April 21st, 2005: Chum Drops
From Spanish Bank Streamkeepers: Spanish Bank Creek CHUM DROPS: (1) Thursday, April 21st Our DFO Coordinator Sandie Hollick-Kenyon will be bringing 10,000 Chum fry to the Creek on each of the three dates shown above. Sandie is planning to arrive at the Creek each day, between 6 and 6:15 p.m. rather than 4 p.m. as previously announced. If you would like to help us put the fry into the Creek, plan to turn up beside the Creek on the south side of NW Marine Drive at 6 p.m. Bring rubber boots or waders. Children and cameras are welcome but dogs are not. Sandie provides buckets to transport the fish up the Creek. These Chum fry were spawned at the Kanaka Creek hatchery in the Fall of 2004.
