Out by Teskey Rock and another van was broken in sometime this morning. The owner was there when I was  and told me nothing stolen. Two broken windows and 2 flat tires. They had to call a tow truck :( :'(

That doesn't sound like crackheads but fisherman who don't want to share the river...

I walked out of a run a couple years ago and noticed "SNAGGERS" scratched in to the side of the only vehicle in the pullout besides mine. Guess whoever did the artwork must have gotten offended by someone's etiquette on the river and walked out and figured out who's car was who's by the pendent symbols hanging from the rear view

I've been toying with the idea of getting a no-glow trail camera and camoflaging it to keep an eye on my vehicle while fishing. If I'm one of the unlucky targeted vehicles - I'd love to ID the people responsible - passing their faces and vehicle info on to everyone on this site, plus the RCMP (this of course after I'd scoured the area for them to share my feelings).

Took a drive up to the Chilliwack River Hatchery yesterday and noticed more piles of glass at some more parking areas, so sad to see this continuing problem along the Chilliwack Vedder River.

I dont how practical it is but this is a good idea. Maybe once a few of them have been caught in the act and get their pics on the news they might think twice about who might be watching at any given time.

Yeah - practicality is an issue - problem I'm noodling at the moment is they are just so big and would be a bit tough to conceal. I'll be sure to post some pics if I do get one up and running. Love to share with the people of Chilliwack and the Lower Mainland who these shifty SoB's are.

Just saw a video posted on FB that the camp that was taken down a few months ago is all set up again in this area. :-X
Where is the camp?

Where is the camp?
Just above Teskey Rock, opposite the Salmon Trail parking area.

None that I could see, made a point of walking in and checked it out.

Thats what I thought. I have a trailer at cultus lake and there were a lot of thefts from our area last year that the police said were most likely the work of that "camp". A buddy and I actually went there looking for some of his belongings, no luck. Not thrilled to hear they are back.

Not all doom and gloom out there.
I have been on the river 3 nights this week. I have not witnessed any broken glass, nor has my truck been broken into.
Leave nothing inside and there is no reason to have your window smashed.
