FWR Subscription
« on: February 22, 2006, 10:15:25 PM »

I somewhat surprised at the lack of comments about the FWR subscription. What does everybody think ? Good, bad ? For myself I'm looking forward to enjoying some of the perks of being a Subscriber.

To steal an old AMEX slogan: Membership has its priviledges.  ;D

Miles ahead of what I get for my magazine subsriptions and for my dues in the Outdoor Writers of Canada. I'll bring my check book to the show Rod.

If I were getting a subscription it would only be for the use of the PM function (and to support Rodney for all the work he puts into this site). Unfortunatly, that would require everyone else whom I wish to PM to also be a subscriber. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see who all signs up.

The PM idea will is interesting , as a point made up above me is a valid concern , i am not a user of the pm system on here so it is not a concern to me , as much as it is to others .

But ... for the amount of great information , reports and good company that this site offers , the $15 a year is well worth it . I will be sending my cheque in the mail tomorow . Some people would be surprised how much time and effort and $$ is put into a site like this .
Thanks again to all the moderators , Admin , and who ever else is "behind the scenes" .

Quite a few came in the mailbox yesterday. Thanks for the support so far. :)

Bill, two tickets to Tradex will be in your mailbox in the next couple of days. ;)

James, thanks for the kind words and support.

Biff brings up a good point in his concern, will have to re-evaluate that etc. The new chatroom will be very exciting, I can see Big Steel will spend quite a bit of time in there already. ;)
