Leafs winning & Canucks losing seems to be the trend recently.
Jan 6 game has Eddie Lack back. Will he get a shut out or let 1 or 2 max. goals in. That is the question?
We all know the Canucks score about 2 goals or less per game.
Canucks better get in their heads that there is only 3 periods per game so get the offence going before the final whistle.
There is a story in tonight's tv news about a 90 yr old guy still skating on a team in eastern Canada.
He does not drink or smoke & this guy can skate very well. Even skate backwards.
Maybe the Canucks should get him to drop by in a practise  & he can "do his thing" putting on a demo.
The Canucks seeing this old fart ( say in a nice way ) skating about maybe will either get a lot of red faces  :-[ :-[ :-[ or it will light a fire under their butts.
On the other hand the GM just may stick the guy on the twins line.
Hope Canucks get it going soon but for tomorrow's game I will be cheering Eddie Eddie Eddie.
He's my favourite goalie.

I hear Chris is negotiating for his rights for the Laughs.

Against a lowly team, not like our big win tonight down south, moving north in the standing, what a team we are.

Chris it was a big W for the Leafs BUT : the Huricanes are one hellava team. Great skating & plays to each other. It the rink was European size 9x out of 10 the Canucks should lose.
As far as the goalies ...after  :'( crying ) the sadness of it all Lack let in more goals so they get the Loss.
Canucks goalie played. " super.  "

You don't get extra points in the standings for shutouts. ;D I got some Canuck floats that says your team will be on the golf course come the playoffs.

Tough night for A_BOATER and Chris. The Compost got destroyed big times. Tough to be a Leaf fan. Report that Jonathan Bernier was admitted to a local hospital following the game for treatment for 3rd degree burns as 7 pucks got by him tonight. ;D

Leafs lost because of bad ice (heard that fact / excuse by someone before so thought I's use it also )
Infact have no idea who the Leafs played against. :o
Vancouver played very good but in OT player(s) stayed on the ice too long & the fresh legs got the break & scored on a break away. Vancouver goalie performed super but he made a lousy play on the OT goal.
He moved even before the shot was taken thus the player just aimed for an open spot.
Terrible terrible terrible...
Good game to watch though as both teams were entertaining & gave lots of effort.
