Spent a couple of hours at GT today as it's fairly close to home. Never been there before but enjoyed the afternoon. 4 fish on, 2 landed, one lost outright and one lost to a cat tail.  Lots of fun. All on a little micro leech I tied last night.

There is nothing better that putting together hooks, feathers, string ... etc and then catching a fish on your pattern. I'll never outgrow that.

How big is the fish you caught, 220 Grams or 540 grams

I was split right down the middle. 2 fish were about 1lb or so (maybe a little bigger) and two were smaller guys.

I tried on friday at green timbers for one the big guys (2000g) but they weren't liking my bait or spoons.  I actually saw one swim pretty close to shore, some clown jumped in the water to tried to catch it by hand but fortunately the only thing he caught were wet shoes and jeans!  :D

I also tried green timbers for the 2kg rainbows but no luck there. I saw movement but they didn't want any part of my spoons or baits

I'll probably head to Rice lake again since it's just been stocked, some relaxing fishing
