hey big steel my grandpa has had some 35ers maybe a few bigger, got a 8x10 picture of him in my room with a 30 something, as boozi its a monster, also have a photo album of him with some mosters. unfortunitly he passed away when i was 3 before i liked river fishing :( o well have some of his reels, and him watching out for me ;D

how old is this picture because this sure looks like a wild fish to me and it's been a while since you could bonk a wild steelhead in b.c. >:( >:( >:( >:(
I say 10-1 that fish is from Washington or at least the states!!  There are some rivers on which you can keep one wild and one hatchery!!

Perhaps out of the Sol-duc, Calawah, Hoh, or possibly the Queets!!  Those would be my guesses!!  While I was there a couple of year ago, I saw the biggest Chrome Steelie I ever saw!!!  Weighed in at 24 lbs :o :o, watching that fight was intense!! ;D ;D

  I believe the limit on americans is 9 for 1 day, pickup box load for 2 day limit.(thats long box) No real fisherman owns a short box. :D :D

You can keep wild steelhead on the lower Skeena at particular times of year. As well there are some other "northern" rivers where retention is okay.
