The way it is raining and the wind factor here in Chilliwack at 5:55 I did not get down to look at the Vedder. I am sure as Trout Slayer said in his report the water has gone out completely now, as well the river reading has sky rocketed today to make for a high discharge rate of flow.

As I said in a earlier thread this is what happens when some posters asked for rain. :o It now will be difficult for a day or so to get a fish to see your offering. However there is two bright spots, the downpour will move the fish out of the KWB grounds and it will herald the best fishing of the coho season once it clears. ;D ;D

According to the hydrograph, the river has risen 2 meters since last night.

Just checked at the FWB and the visibility is 0. Gravel bars that some anglers were fishing this am in the canal area are gone from sight now.

Rod, I must be looking at the wrong water meter because the one I'm looking at says about 70 CM as of about 7 PM.

(why is it I only find cracked Drennans????)

Very interesting. The Slesse Creek reading says 2m, the Vedder Crossing reading says 0.7m.

With the river rising so fast I think I will head down to Haney wharf to look for that float ;)

I am too lazy to cure roe so I guess I will try blades or wool if I head to the Vedder.

Nice fish Rod!
