i don't think there's anyone now that would argue over brodeur's stature of being the best canadian goaltender.

he's a class act and after all those years of being put behind the likes of patrick roy, curtis joseph, and even ed belfour... he deserves the spotlight and title of premier goaltender and i don't think he'll ever be 'back up' to anyone, ever again. at least not when representing Canada.

Brodeur is probably the MVP of the tournament to date.

Burke was upset at Mclean and other CBC crew during last years playoffs when CBC released the salary figure of $2M/yr that Burke wanted from the Canucks owner.

Burke vehemently denied that figure but the CBC crew maintained it came from a reliable source so Burke and Mclean bickered over it on air.

I love Burkie :D  I love watching him bite his tounge.  You know he wants to let McLean have it, but he seems to be controlling himself.  Get rid of Cherry and put Burke into the "Managers Chair".

Sweeds & Russians gone.  There goes two of the favorites.  I still like Canada head & shoulders above the rest.

U.S. or Finland on Friday?

Canada vs. Czech Republic Saturday.

Jagr has an injured hip and hasn't been practicing.  But he hopes to play against Canada.  Canada by 3 goals.
