give the rivers a rest boys and girls grab some dew worms  and slip floats and hit the many ponds that hold bass in the lowermainland. ;D noxcape please gather everyone and take them to all the hot spots that hold bass ;)

I enjoyed bass fishing last summer :). Tried a few different rigs and ended up doing well wacky rigging soft plastic worms.  It was a blast fishing for bass, I enjoyed it a lot more than stocked trout.

i cant say tossing a spinner bait out in the reeds and burning it back only to have the rod ripped out of your hands when pull the lure out of the water ain't fun. bucketmouth and his jigs, the master of disaster. but  im not gonna my smelly socks you handy andy... bass got cupcakes on steelhead.

Nice dry fly fish when the water warms up. The take on big skated dries is the same as it is for 5 lb plus trout. Fly fishing these guys is much harder than trout because of the cover they hold in. If you can't accurately cast into tight places with and without wind, you will be skunked. As Andy said there is a good list of Bass waters on the WCBA site.

I wonder how more more lakes will be stocked/ruined this year?

The bass I found last summer are more fun to play than the stocked trout in the lower mainland.  I guess part of the fun is not knowing how big the bass is going to be, I guess I was getting bored of 400 gram triploids :)
