not trying to bash yer buddies deer younggun.... it's just so easy to throw numbers out there. 183 that deer is NOT but what ever........ IT IS A VERY NICE DEER.... your buddy deserves to be proud of that one..... the score shouldn't even matter really..... I scored my deer at 152 with my inexperienced measurement taking. My drying time is up and my taxidermist..... who is an official b&c scorer..... has called to say my buck actually scores 158....... however..... you can't eat the bones, so i'm more impressed by the 156 lbs of meat that came from mine, sittin cut and wrapped in my freezer
