Favorite fish species for fishing: Steelhead is more challenging, but I have yet to catch one. One time I was fishing with Joel on the Vedder. I got snagged. He un-snagged me and like he usually does, he has to do that initial cast. So then he gets a monster steelhead...on MY ROD!!! That should've been MY steelhead, darn guy!   I'm still scarred...obviously. [/b]

Home Nakusp.....I love fishing the Upper Arrow...bought a boat as soon as we moved here two yrs ago.  Love fishing for rainbow and dolly.  Winter fishing is the best.  You can go to any small lake around here and not see another person all day.  I love the outdoors, camping hunting and of course I live to fish.

New guy.  All my friends call me Bob.  I've been fishing for 55 years now, a couple of older cousins started me when I was 4.  I was born and raised in Toronto but I converted to a Northerner in '73.  Now in Elliot Lake.  I've fished the East coast but haven't made it to the West coast yet, still dreamin'. No favourite fish, love 'em all, even the ones with no scales.  Not much I won't eat.  I have a 17 ft. Grew with 140 I/O for fishing close to home and I keep a 26 ft. Carver cruiser in Spanish on the North Channel of Lake Huron.  I do some chartering with that one and my significant other, Peggy, is my first mate.  She lets me wear the captain hat.  Kids are all grown up and raising their own.  I run my own Karaoke service and also do some  contracting (renovations mostly).  I really enjoy a rusty nail now and then but mostly I'm an ale drinker.  Molson Export is my brand of choice.
