It's funny how the weight of a rod is relative to what you are used to using or what you've fished with last.  I've just switched to my 3113 which feels light as a feather because I use a 4120 on the Thompson throughout the fall/early winter ( the best c-pin rod for that river in MHO). When I start fishing smaller systems I use my 3106  or 2106 and every once in awhile you almost have to look to see if you still have a rod in your hand...it feels so light, in comparison to the others.

BTW, I'm the MOTHER of gear hos!  It's a disease, that as far as I know, there isn't a cure for... so good luck with that guys.

Xgm, you're gonna love that 3113....it's a fantastic rod!!

The 3313 aint huge, Little 6 pound does on the stamp were bending it, I love the rod and it is a sweet stick. You will also like the islander on it. I guess we have the excact same setup :)

you have 31 foot rod sam.. sheesh little overkill I would say ;D
