Thanx to the majority of the guys here for the congrats on the fish, greatly appreciated..... all u trash talking other guys are just jealous that you have never caught or seen anything anywhere close to that size.... o and did i mention getting out fished by a 21 yr old.... lol,..... o and by the way... to the guys that have to know what kinda float i was useing, how much lead, whether it b a slinky, or pencil lead, wut size hook and egzactly how many grams my bait of choice weighd..... DONT WORRY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!! but if you wanna find the rock i was standing on and egzactly how many feet from the shore line i was standing on take a walk... start at the limit hole, and walk down to the ranger run, you'll find it....

lost one, dad hooked 2 on the chehalis. All three were hogs! Nice fish, low and clear is what the vedder is in the winter, so is the chehalis and the thompson is too! What ever! Even if it wasn't caught lately that fish is still a pig!

birdman, goto the vedder.... go to the upper vedder, look at the main flow, look at sum of the deepeer side channels..... "SOME" of the side channels are clear as can be, even in the deeper parts u can see bottom in up to 6-8 feet of water..... just cuz the main flow isnt clear as can be doesnt mean that fishable side channels are not...... i guarentee u theres low clear water in the upper right now as i have proof with the pic that was posted..... if you have any doubts go see for your self

Alright birdman, if you dont want any advice from people on the thread....go ask a conservation officer :D
I talked to one a couple weeks ago down in the canal and he notified me that below Ranger Run was qute nasty;however, above and beyond it is alright considering the fish they have spotted( having spotted fish....im sure the water is clear) :P

Was at the upper and mid river on sunday and it is definatly not low and clear. The upper at best had 2 feet of vis depending where you where. Below ranger was less vis and the mid had less than 6inches  >:( :( :( :( .

Forget now, i wasn't talking about now, yah i've seen the vedder, after 2 months of straight rain what do u think it would look like. But i'm saying that usually when i hit those three rivers in January and February they are all on the low and clear side! Sorry if i miss worded my sentence! :D
