Vedder Feb.25th
« on: February 26, 2006, 05:22:41 PM »

Fished a favourite spot of mine today upriver.Got there around 9am and there were 2 others fishing the run.About an hour in 1 of the fellas had 1 on.He played the fish for about 15 minutes and could tell it was a wild about 10-12 lbs and then it broke his line taking his gear. They left and I continued at no avail. for about an hour, but it's always nice just to see these amazing fish!

Sniffr, I ate some more of that smoked chum you made when i got home and its awesome. The white spring from the vedder kinda sucks though. Its kinda funny that I think the chum is better than the spring but I had never tasted white vedder spring before. I guess my top fish list goes like this. Halibut, Lingcod, rock cod, sockeye, coho, steelhead, spring(normal), pink, chum and spring(vedder). I am not sure if i will try vedder spring again smoked but i might try one more on the barbecue or maybe the fry pan.
Steelhead On!!!
