BS and i headed out for the river this morning since we didnt have the little legs of Guppy with us we decided to try our luck hiking down the backside and fishing some of the pocket water there, the river has dropped and is considerably clearer than the last time we were out,we fished for several hours but were unable to entice any fish with our offerings even though we knew they were there, the water was so clear we counted 5 fish sitting in about 2ft of water but couldnt get them to hit anything,so it was off down river for the afternoon,we didnt hear of many fish being hooked in the area but decided to try anyway, half an hour in float down hook set hard ,after a small run and some strong headshakes fish gone, steelie 1 searun 0,fished for a while longer and through the same slick and float down again ,the fish goes airborne a couple of times and a few strong runs ,i seem to be winning this battle ,with the fish about 5 ft from shore i see it is about a 9lb hatch,no sooner had i said it was a hatchery pop the hook comes free, steelies 2 searun 0,big steel had a 0-0 day ,i figure mostly due because he wanted to leave some fish for others to enjoy, lol. All in all it was another great day to be out on the flow. :) :) :)

Thanks for that Seass!!   ;D ;D  I would have liked to hook into at least one, but you can't get them all the time I guess!!  Good job on losing 2!! ;D ;D  I felt right off the bat that I didn't have the mojo going today, and couldn't get it going!!  But it was a beautiful day, got a good workout, saw a couple, or make that one fish, that spanked Searun, so it was all good!! ;)  I am happy with my season so far, so it was just nice to be out!!  Maybe next weekend!! ;D ;D
