i didnt know that the cap had chums either... I have fished it now for about 15 years and have yet to catch a single chum... hmm ... might be a good thing though... ;)

 Caught a big ugly chum today, fought it for a while the whole time thinking I had a nice fresh spring on, but alas when I got it close to shore the first thing I notice was all the dark bars down the side and a big nasty set of teeth. :P

Last year I saw a lovely chum couple doing the mating dance up at Dogleg, and a maybe a half dozen more milling around at Three Rock. Up until that point I had no idea there were chum in the cap.
