What is considered the Lower River??  Lickman, Keith Wilson???  Cottonwood? I need help with this!

Slayers got it.  Below the Crossing it's the Vedder canal.  Above the crossing it's the Chilliwack R.

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the canal start just below the railway bridge. Above the bridge to the crossing would be the Vedder. The crossing and up would be the chilliwack?

   All of which need a good cleaning

We usually call the Vedder Canal where the Vedder River  straightens out.

A little bit of history.

I believe they held the rowing events for the British and Commonwealth Games in 1954 on the Vedder Canal.

My dad used to fish 7 hunt with my Grampa in Yarrow going back to the 1930's.  He told me that the Vedder canal was everything below Vedder crossing.  That's where the early dikes started.
