Coq River
« on: July 27, 2016, 12:30:35 PM »

Quickie, the Coq River is open correct? I thought it was but talked to a guy on the Vedder yesterday who said it wasn't no matter what I said?

Just want to make sure.

last i heard there was a rock fall in the canyon a couple of years ago that blocked most fish access. Fish were being moved above it in the fall the last 2 years. It was closed all last summer and fall. I'm not sure what the status is. Be aware of the fly fishing only section

Ah, "Coq" - did not specify.
Coquitlam or Coquihalla?

Well who knows - but in over 40 years of fishing locally the Coquihalla was the 'Coq' and the Coquitlam was --- well why bother.
