Stave River, October 6th 2011
« on: October 07, 2011, 07:10:43 AM »

Was at the Stave yesterday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the boat.
Bit of a sketchy run to the top - less than 3ft deep at low tide.

I landed 3 Chum and my buddy got 2 - all too dark to think about keeping.
Did see some much cleaner fish jumping that I might have kept.
Caught one on the pin, first cast - what a hoot.

Still really early - as mentioned by the 15th it should be full of fish.

Running back to Ft Langley launch was interesting.
The Fraser is jammed with Pink floaters - couldn't avoid them.
Probably ran 10 through the blender.
