just wondering if anyone has spent any time on this river. drive by it every summer on the way out to bamfield but have never stopped.

"Remnant" population of steelhead (and that is very much true - catch one, and you'll be a Local Hero!)
A decent number of sea-run cutthroat... at the right time of course.
They've been working on enhancing the few springs and coho that make it up, limited success.

All in all a rather poor system to target when there are so many others doing a tad better. Best to let this one recover methinks.
