Drift fishing rod case Question.
« on: January 10, 2010, 10:46:29 PM »

I have been looking and looking!

Anyone know where to get a rod case for a 2 piece 10'5" to 11' drift fishing rod and bait caster.? I always look when I am in the stores but have never find one.

Is there such a thing?

A company called Veder make them. You can get them in Army and Navy and Pacific Angler also sell them in Vancouver.

Yes, there is such a thing. I've got several. Got them several years ago at West Coast Tackle.

Would this be a case that will carry the rod with the real on it?

Yep. The case I have you can fit centrepin or baitcaster setups in. I can get two rods and reels in it although it's probably not recommended.

Any Army and Navy will have what you are looking for.  Usually around 20$.

I've seen 'em at Canadian tire (around $35 I think but they've been less on sale)
