Cross Canada Fishing Trip!
« on: August 09, 2009, 03:54:56 PM »

Hi All,

It's been awhile sine I posted (moved my business to Ontario in the spring) I do look in from time to time to see how it's going back home.

I'm a small tackle manufacture and moved east to open accounts, some of you may have seen 1 of the products the Knotty Girls books?

Anyhow, I'm loading up the van with product at the end of August for a 1 month long zig-zag trip back to Van. I hope to see 3 to 4 shops a day.

I just started posting ads in the GTA for anyone who wants to go and split on gas, then it accrued to me someone from BC could do this trip with the 1st cost being airfare!

In a nut shell here's how it works using Thunderbay for example:

- Next day is Thunderbay, you chose a spot within 20k of the city
- I drop you off around noon with your gear and hit the city shops
- late afternoon we connect, I get the late day bite and we camp for the night
- Next day we get 1st light bite and move on
- Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!

I'll be van sleeping so your needs will be, tent camping gear, tackle and a valid drivers license (I will be assembling products on the fly and need someone to do 1/2 the driving)

The cost for 1/2 the gas is estimated at $500! we'll also need to get fishing licenses for each Provence, not sure what a week in each will cost us?

For those who have ever dreamed of this or knows someone who has email me at mark@sciencefishing.com
and we can run through the plan!

Thanks all, be back soon for some dog action!
