Stamped out
« on: March 31, 2009, 01:45:17 PM »

The last chance for the Stamp today. Nothing. I best get my light fly gear out. Still ice on a lot of lakes around here.

aYup, looks rather much like a Wrap to me. Was out 2 hours yesterday, and went 3 to hand for 5 hooked. Of those 3, one was a runnin' ripe doe, second a buck in the same shape, and the third a bit smaller buck just now starting to color. Nice the doe was HUGE, but felt a tad guilty when I saw her condition. Lost one sight unseen, and lost a rather big cutty right at my toes. So, given the shape of the steelhead, methinks that's likely the last poke at them for me.

Now off to the Sproat Lake. Heard there's some pretty good action over that way... ;)

Cheers,
Nog
