how old is this photo?
« on: August 25, 2008, 04:04:35 PM »

Any one know when the aerial photo of the vedder was taken?  It says 2008 but doesn't have a month.  Has it changed much from the photo?

Sorry about that, I was on my I phone and it takes forever to post something.  The aerial photo is on google maps.  http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl

BTW, make sure you hit the sattelite button.

When you want to show a specific view that you are looking at from Google map, you need to obtain the correct link/URL.

At the top right corner of the map, you should see three options - Print, send and link. Click on "link" and copy the field below "Paste link in email or IM". That is the link you need, not the URL in the address field of your browser.

Weird, I can click on the link in the post above and it works.  Sorry if the link doesn't work for anyone else.  You can go to google.com and click on maps.  Then keep centering and zooming in on the area you want.  Usually a pretty good source of info at least for America.  I was assuming Canadians could see the same thing I'm seeing in Washington.

Yea it's an old pic from what I see...... for example, just above Lickman road there are 2 main channels now and the main one is on the backside of the river.
