RE: Guide recommendation for fishing in Tofino area

Hi everybody,

A group of my friends and I are planning to do some salt water fishing for Chinook and maybe Halibut in this mid August in Tofino area about a day or two. Its been almost seven years since I last fished there, and all I caught was just one lingcod. I am just wondering if any of you has any advice on which guide would be good to go with both in terms of skills and price.

I'd appricate your help on this.

Tight lines,

I would go with weigh west resort, they have good packages they can put together, and nice boats, along with the best guides. I went over there with a buddy in november when there was nothing being caught we were over for business reasons but we went out with a guy named scottie from weigh west and he got us into 9 fish in 4 hours at the slow time of year, this was very impressive. I have a trip for 10 booked July 4th and using them again. If you can wait until then I will send you pics of that trip should be good.

Cheers

Many thanks, BOWHUNTER for the info. I took a look at the website and it looked quite good. Also, it'd be great if you can let me know how you did with your trip you're going.

Anybody else has any other guides to recommend?

Thanks again,
