I picked up some new gear and two new bar fishing setups from Pacific Angler today. I'm very excited and can't wait to go fishing. Their Summer Sale prices were great.
Here's what I picked up
11' Fraser King Trophy XL rods
Abu Garcia 7000B reels
65lb tuff line
assorted spin n glows, spreader bars, leaders etc
They also had some great prices on Shimano Convergence rods. I picked up two drift rods a medium and medium heavy. Still need to match up a couple of reels.
BTW I can't say enough about Jason from Pacific Angler. I've been emailing the poor guy many times this last week and he always got back to me right away. I was working on the weekend and I couldn't get in to pick up my gear so he put it aside for me today. I'm a newbie to the west coast fishing scene and Jason spent almost an hour and a half with me today (during the busiest part of the day) giving me loads of incredible information. The guy is a wealth of fishing information and you can really tell that he loves fishing. I highly recommend shopping there
