chehalis native fishery
« on: February 06, 2006, 05:54:33 PM »

got a fishing report from a friend that knows the chehalis well he went fishing sunday and their wasn,t a guy anywhere in sight thats weird for as the steelies should be in their hmmm. the hatchery has no brood stock wow good sucspision that the natives are netting for as the river goes right through their land , by the way he didn,t get any fish and he fished for 6 hours , he,s a pro. then he sees a  fishery truck come from the reserve with the tank on it hmmm. wonder if their getting brood stock from the natives chances are good what was it a year ago when that guy got busted from buying wild steelhead from the natives 7. supposedly the natives believe that steelies are the ghost fish they should,nt be catching them at all if they are netting these fish on the chehalis it is very devastating and it should come to a end now. even for that matter they should,nt be netting even coho for sure not on the chehalis river
