Chehalis Nov6
« on: November 06, 2005, 03:24:01 PM »

There were the four of us today,we started about 7am above the hatcheryscattered throughout the river.I have never seen so many chum,i would say 1 coho per 100 chum.We did get lucky today between the 4 of us we got 5 fish in about 5 hours and a few lost.Out of the 20 or so guys we talked to maybe another 10 fish taken.I would say maybe 30 guys in the areas we fished.I was wondering if we made the right choice in choosing the right river today,so how was the Vedder today?

Just got a call from my buds saying that the Chehalis was a dud. They fished at Easter Seal and said it was chum city. They saw only a few coho hooked or landed. Then in the canyon they saw  five people total, and just as many coho in the pools.
