lower Fraser nov4
« on: November 04, 2004, 05:32:32 PM »

did some bar fishing on the river today with some freshly cured chum roe, got into alot of bullheads, no coho, but i did catch and release a 3# dolly. Also brought my new digital camera to finally get some pics to post, and only had enough battery for one picture of the dolly, unfortunatly the fish was kinda turned on its side so the pic didnt turn out so well. Next time out some spare batteries are going into the fishing bag

Hey lucky we learned that lesson just this last summer. Caught a beautiful 30 something LB. spring Dorthy runs and gets the camera only to find out the batteries are to low for it to function properly. We felt so bad, so from now on we always double-check the camera. Hey, love and learn ;D.

Always have spare bats.  Learned my lesson too.  What general area were you fishing? Richmond, New West/Surrey? Thanks for the report.

keep a film camera just in case. bought one real cheap at x-cess cargo on the langley by-pass for 5 bucks...with flash. don't buy digital cameras without rechargers......you'll pay forever for batterries.
