Stave lake
« on: September 12, 2004, 05:10:49 PM »

Went out to Stave Lake this mourning, :-\wont go there ever again on a windy cloudy day, caught a 12 inch squaw fish just before the waves almost sank us :'( After that went down to Hayward lake for a couple of hours of calm water fishing ;D caught a nice 14 inch rainbow. Sure made up for the mourning at Stave.

Canoe man yes there is alot of stumps in the lake, but if you stick to the middle you'll be alright , I was spincasting of the boat while my buddy was trolling a fly whith a full sink line, and he didnt snag at all ,in the 2 hours we were there we didn't fish the whole lake probebly 1\3 of it ,lots of action though :)
