Currently no fishing for salmon in the tidal Fraser, but you might get a trout or pike minnow casting flies or spoons. However,  water clarity is still pretty poor.

Yeah I wouldnt be fishing there now unless you have light tackle. Anything capable of landing a salmon might get you a ticket.

Google bc fisheries in season decisions. It's a bit trick but it's in the tidal section.

Rod posts a lot of fishery notices in the "2015 Fraser River Chinook and Sockeye Salmon Updates" thread:
http://www.fishingwithrod.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=38167.0

You can also go directly to the source but there are a lot of notices and sometimes hard to find what you want:
http://www-ops2.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fns-sap/index-eng.cfm?CFID=15056314&CFTOKEN=23443303

I typically select option 2 - "Browse by notice number"
