Spent several hours fishing the upper river yesterday. The river was running quite high, I didn't see or hear of any salmon caught and didn't see any surfacing or jumps.

I did however get lucky enough to land a very nice bull trout, maybe around 3-5 pounds. We shook hands and I sent him on his way, a nice little surprise for the day.
