Looking for a few things: WTB
« on: May 04, 2014, 12:16:00 PM »

Hi,

I am looking for a few random things. Thought I would throw it out there and see what happens.
Thanks for looking.

1. LH retrieve bushing Don Campbell reel. Mainly interested in clear/clear

2. Lamiglas X 113 M-CP rod. If anyone has one?

3. A rod rack. Have been looking a wooden gun racks online and ebay but delivery from the states is expensive. Open to other styles as well. Cabinets etc...

Thanks! Please PM me if you are willing to part with any of these.

Get it shipped to a drop shipper in point roberts and go pick it up, domestic shipping within the US is dirt cheap.

I can't help with the first couple items, however, I may be able to with the rod holder. After much research on the internet, I was unable to find a holder for my rods in their tubes. As such, I developed and built my own. Here are a couple samples. The first one is a bit crude but serves the purpose well. The second triangle one I built for someone.

Currently I have cut out the materials for a square version that will hold 12 tubes. It just needs to be put together. These I built out of pine but could build out of other materials. In addition, I can custom build one for your specific needs. I am about to make a couple other styles. Ones that will mount to the wall. I can make them for rods or tubes in the size you need. I have left these ones raw but could also stain them if so desired.
I also feel I could do them at a reasonable price. Shortly I will be building some wooden fly boxes. Primarily usable boxes as well as some display styles. Personally I found that the more "exotic" ones are great to look at but I would be hard pressed to want to scuff them up. The last picture shows the style I am thinking about.

Having said all this, as I am a little layed up at the moment, I had shoulder surgery a couple weeks ago, so delivery might be a little bit.

Feel free to email me at <fishinggary44@gmail.com> if you are interested.
