Hi Charts, I can't speak to fishing but I'm working up near PG right now and the weather's getting pretty miserable for fishing... The temperature's about to take another dive later this week and the river edges may be iced up pretty good.   I don't want to turn you off of trying, but just a bit of info so you're prepared.  If you're from this area and used to this type of fishing, call me a wuss and forget this post  :D.  For me, the only fish that could motive me in these conditions is winter steel :)

wit all the recent sokeye spawn, egg patterns would be good and maybe some flesh patterns as well!

Make sure you check your regs...I may stand to be corrected here but I think I recall reading that you need a special permit to fish this river.  Just found this on Google, you may want to research it further re its current validity...may well be just a regular species conservation sticker...not sure but check it out anyway :)

"The Stellako River is only about seven miles long and the best of the fishing water has been purchased by the Nature Conservatory. It has special fishing regulations including catch and release, gear restrictions and a special licence."
