Cuts In Deep Cove?
« on: April 02, 2009, 06:19:49 AM »

An old timer told me he used to go to Cates Park in Deep Cove to fish for cutties. Anyone know about this? (He also suggested the Nelson Creek mouth for the same thing?)

There are Searuns native to all the tributaries of the inlet and arm. Standard tactics apply, ravel beaches with a gradual slope within 5 miles of a spawning stream. Oyster of mussel beds are a big draw and watch for moving fish.
