He had the whole world ahead of him.  He was taken much too early in life.  A very sad story indeed.

This sucks.... he was only 21 and probably had an amazing career ahead of him. My prayers go out to his family. Hopefully it wasn't something that was his fault, and if it was, hopefully other people (mainly hockey players) learn from this. Too many hockey players are killed in car accidents, whether because of drunk driving, speed, or just freak accidents. I can only remember the Heatley accident, but Im sure other people on here can remember others, since Ive only been watching hockey maybe 4 years now. It's sad to see someone that young have their life get cut short.

sad, he was a great young player.

every day, hockey players are just like any other people, you just hear about there accidents because of who they are, about 15 NHLers have been killed in car accidents since 66', not sure on those injured, who injured others, dui's etc. but it wont be dramatically higher than other people.
