Kids Fly tying
« on: March 07, 2008, 08:11:31 AM »

For those that have kids, Randy at Hatch Matchers is hosting a free kids fly tying on Saturday afternoon from 2-5pm. I will be there with my 6 year old. Got him tying leeches. Hopefully he will be tying something else by the end of the day. I am hoping to one day have him tie all my flies lol  ;D

Well we had a great afternoon and my 6 year old son is now tying all on his own. By the end Randy had him tying leeches and wooly buggers and doing half hitches. It was pretty cool to watch. He now owns his own vise and tools and is a tying machine  ;D . Actually he got my vise and I bought a new one  ;D .
