Was at Michaels today on Byrne rd, go to where they sell easels for painting and they have empty paint boxes reg. price $55 clearing them out for $16.

That's a good deal! Good for someone looking to make one. I'm good with my one box for now. It's only about 1/2 full. The wood is definitley not super durable. Cheap laminated crap. Obviously not made to be banged around on a boat hahaha. Mine already has a few chips out of it, but as long as the hinges etc hold together and it still functions well I don't really care how the exterior looks. So far couldn't be happier with it!
