It's a great song, the thing is that seeing the video as the first time you hear the song, gives away the punchline.  To truly appreciate this song, you have to never hear it before, then hear it for the first time on the radio. 

I never noticed that she's Asian.  lol  It even says it right under the video who she is.  She's part Japanese - most likely only a quarter.  She's actually Bob Izumi's niece, and therefore she's Canadian in an American video!

How awesome it would be if my girlfriend had any interest in fishing.  Having your better half fishing with you sometimes (and I emphasize sometimes) would definitely create a really strong bond.
