With the way the voting took place for this what does the victory even mean from an objective standpoint?  Does it really have much to do with being "The Ultimate Fishing Town" or just an aggressive voting campaign?  This question has nothing to do with my opinion.

There are other towns in BC which could have made the competition more interesting, but PA stepped up to the plate and worked harder and more passionately. 

I would have liked to have seen a stricter registration system with one vote per voter (I think it would have been easier for Port Alberni to win if that was the case).  But all the candidates had to abide by the same rules.  The other towns sound like great fishing towns, but I think Port Alberni would have been a clear winner by any  standard used (of course I admit to having some bias).
