Early season high elevation trout stalking.

Got skunked on the first couple of trips.  Caught a few on this one.  Here is a video I made.

Snow up in the Princeton area last week as well. One minute not a cloud in the sky or a breath of wind ,the next it was white out and blustering..WOOOOO!!!! ;D

Very nice fish - almost 26".

Early season fishing usually means a lot of chironomid fishing.

You can have some success trolling but I have been frustrated so many times trolling in April & May.
The fish just focus on the tiny chironomids and rarely hit anything else.

I started chironomid fishing last year and am still dialing it in but I am headed to Roche this weekend for the ultimate chironomid test.

Driller, great video blog. Although there is an overwhelming amount of garbage on YouTube, it is a great resource for amateur videographers to develop ideas, create projects and inspire each other. How is the Go Pro camera?

The go pro is great.  Very versatile, waterproof, and small.  Doesn't compare to the new HD cameras, but it is as good if not better than the older mini DV cameras I think.
