redington cd
« on: June 01, 2008, 05:00:17 PM »

just wondering if anyone on here has tried the redington cd reels, I am looking at buying two reels for a 5weight rod in the $150 range. If you have tried them, or know of anyother types in that price range can you help a fisher out with some advice. thanks

Look at the new Lamson Konics. They have the same conical drag system that all the other high end Lamson's have but they are a hell of a lot cheaper. $130-$160ish I would think. They are pressure cast rather than just gravity feed which minimizes the imperfections and makes the tolerances better.
