This is the time of year that they are fat. Filling up on chum gets them this way. Get out there while its hot!!!

Way to go Buddah, those beast are definitely an adrenalin rush. Words fail in expressing what goes on in your head when a fish the size of a telephone pole tail-walks at the end of your line.

Looking at the pictures Rodney posted they were at Hatzic hole heading back towards Mission you can see the Gravel pitt in the background on the mountain side that is the gravel pitt directly across from the Dewdney slough . And the boat in the background sure looks like Moosefinders . I spend so much time out there I can tell most sections of the river by land marks in the background . Planning on heading out for some Dino action this week as well I have had the Flu for a while but I'm rested up and ready to do battle with some LUNKERS . And you can easily identify that fishingbudda is around Mission bridge as it is in the backgound of his shots . Nice pics and fish by the way buddha your very lucky to get an 8 footer your first time out it took me three years to break the 8 foot mark .

Would love to have more Sturgeon fishing buddies it's allways fun watching new people fighting the monsters of the Fraser . I will give you a heads up next time im going on a weekend your more than welcome to come out and do battle with some dino's . I have three Sturgeon set up's that can handle any fish the river can offer . You might want to load up on some Accelerade and protein powder before we head out  ;D
