New idea for DFO for commercial openings!

We see that commercial fishery might be slowing down the sport fishery!
Why doesn't DFO have commercial openings every other day...one day on one day off!
This way, the commercial boats can catch their few hundred fish each time they go out, then the sport fishermen can go out and catch their quota the next day and maybe the fish will have a chance to escape and make it to the spawning grounds too so that we can continue having more fish in the future!?!?!?
Just a thought...don't jump all over me if it seems ridiculous to you  ;D
