Rolley Lake
« on: May 01, 2011, 07:48:07 AM »

Thinking about taking my son out fishing today since the weather is so nice.  Does anyone know if there is good shore access at Rolley Lake?  Any recommendations on bait of choice? Thanks!

There is trail around the lake that offers a few spots to fish from. I would bring some boots along as some spots are swampy. East end of the lake was where most of the fish were jumping. I didn't use bait but might have had better luck if I did.

Rolley lake is an excelent lake to fish and has good shore access from the beach. Use a worm or powerbait with either a bobber or you can use a 1/4 oz worm sinker. There are usually some older guys there that are very helpful. Have a great day with your son.Tight lines

Nice little lake to fish there's a trial that surrounds the entire lake with plenty of access to shore fishing just pick and chose your spots and as for bait dew worms or power bait worked fine for me last year bottom fishing with 1oz weight good size fish in there so good luck
