Advice for rushed Haida Gwaii trip
« on: April 02, 2014, 10:21:11 PM »

Hey everyone,

Sorry to divert from the important flossing conversation :o.

I'm headed to Haida Gwaii in early July and only have a few days in Queen Charlotte city and a day in Masset, so was wondering if anyone can recommend a guide to go salmon/halibut fishing with.

cheers!

check out west wave sport fishing, I believe they are in sandspit.

great boats and great guides, Kenny has fished the Gwaii for many years and has it dialed in. If you fish with these guys you work be heading out to the west side of the islands where there is world class bottom fishing and great chinook fishing. Do it if you can.

If a guide does not pan out head to tow hill and go for a hike. The rivers you pass on the way are full of willing cutthroat on the fly or Small gold crocks with red stripe on the side.
