can i refund my license/steelhead tag?
« on: April 09, 2010, 03:09:51 PM »

i just purchased my salt and freshwater licenses today , along with some tackle. the final sale price came up a little more than i thought i would be , i then noticed a steelhead tag  on my license (although i said to the retailer i only wanted a salmon tag) . so is there any way i can refund the steelhead tag? .because i will not fish , or keep steelhead .

shouldve read what i bought before signing.

Everything happens for a reason.
You have just gotten a signal from the fishing gods that you should take up steelheading, yet you are ignoring it. :-\

No, you can't get a refund on your steely tag. It's processed already and it has a number attached to your license number.

Just go steelheading, man! I got this weird feeling that you will do quite well...

No refund on licenses. I'd just use it.

If your not going to use it think of it as a donation as giving back to the resource.

If you're seriously stretched and are sure you made it clear you didn't want the tag, approach the shop, they might make it right.

Actually if you do purchase the license from a Vender, they can  voild the license within the first hour after the licences processed/ printed.
