I caught a trout a few weeks ago and thought I might try something different with it you should really try.

put fish in tin foil: put Little butter inside fish
add salt and pepper as much as wanted
rub some oyster sauce on top of fish
      minced garlic inside ( optional)
and a bunch of lemon juice

then wrappit up real good in tin foil so no juices can get out put in a pan and put in oven until ready. Try this recipe I personally think it is awesome all the juices get cooked into the fish instead of being fryed around it and it is really moist and tasty.

instead of oyster sauce use mayonnaise . the mayonnaise keeps the fish nice and moist . you can do the fish in the oven or on the bbq out side .

Trivia for the day.  The technique of wrapping your fish in foil is a modern day variation of a classic french technique, en papillotte where you make a "sac" that is then filled with various herbs and flavorings plus a liquid which will serve to steam and poach your fish at the same time (usually acid based like lemon juice, white wine). It ensures that you will have a moist and flavor infused fish.  The weird and strange way (but it works) is to wrap iyour fish in foil and seal it really tight. So tight that no air escapes the foil.  Then throw it in your dishwasher.  I think you set it to the regular cycle and not the econo mode.  Your fish should come out perfectly.  ;)

Your fish should come out perfectly.  ;)

Should being the appropriate word,  In theory this sounds good, however it reminds me of an old Home Improvement episode where Tim "The tool man" Taylor tried this numerous times.....with expected catastrophic results.

If anyone has ever attempted this, I'd be curious to know the outcome.  Anyone actually tried?

It was done on a TV show with chef Bob Blumer called the Surreal Gourmet.
