Como and Lafarge are being stocked today, with rainbow trout well over 300g. There is a kids trout derby at Como Lake this weekend. I will confirm once the stocking status is received.

Starting today until Sunday, the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery will be busy stocking lakes for all the BC Family Fishing Weekend events that are taking place this weekend.

They are stocking lakes in the Whistler/Squamish area today, North Vancouver/Squamish area tomorrow, Port Moody/Coquitlam//Maple Ridge/Abbotsford on Friday, Lafarge on Saturday and Rice on Sunday.

I will be posting up confirmations and data once they are done.

The link shows stocking 500 fish for Lafarge on June 15, why you say 150, Rod?

Oooh! Apology. This is due to the problem of association or approximation. Your post didn't say it is extra stocking and people do not expect two successive days of stocking, so no one reads the date and thinks that it is the same stocking.  ;D

By the way, what is the daily quota for the Lafarge during the family fishing event? 4 fish as usual?

Yep, four fish per day. People can fish by obtaining the free weekend license, but the existing freshwater regulations still apply. I believe Cam is still looking for volunteers to help him at the event as well.
